Pursued education in aerospace, electrical and mechanical engineering with concentration computer aided design. Financed education as a software engineer for the USDA and TERRA Lab (an environmental science collaboration between the USDA, USGS, USFS and IBM). Moved on to software design and implementation for Motorola's Iridium project and first encounter with massive parallel development teams and the magic of ClearCase. Relocated to the mountains of Colorado for a stint at First Resort Software as a Development Team Manager. Formed consulting business with peers to design and implement Source Code Configration Management Systems using ClearCase for Agilent and Guidant. Consulted as same for US Bank and eventually accepted position as Development Manager of the development tools team in charge of all tools in the IBM Rational Tools Suite and HP/Mercury Software Testing Suite. Positioned as the Development Manager in charge of reviewing and implementing new vendor and in house ALM/SDLC systems and releases. Moved on to Capital One as Product Manager/Scrum Master, SAFe Agile Coach and occasional UI/UX Designer.Specialties: Application Lifecycle Management Systems tracking change from project initiation, through requirements to source code to build, unitest, deployment and retirement.
