Current•Marketing: Create and publish flyers for college lectures and events•Organize events; plan menu and using computer programs, request rooms, facilities for items needed•Establish and maintain comprehensive and accurate files including those for audit •Generate requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and track expenses in shadow budget•Prepare financial reports for federal grants and invoices funding sources •Monitor extensive budget for grants and prepares budget transfers•Maintain and update department calendar•Prepare absence reports as well as resolve payroll discrepancies•Attend meetings and prepare agenda and minutes•Greet visitors, make them feel comfortable, ascertain whom they need to see and take them to the correct location•Order office supplies and monitor stock of items so as to not completely deplete stock•Schedule and confirms appointments; organizes events •Responsible for office correspondence and skip tracing for Financial Aid department•Contacts: Public, in-person and by phone; Accounts Payable; Administrators, Deans, Vice Presidents; Admissions & Records; Bookstore: Budget Control; Facilities; Faculty; Help Desk; Human Resources; Information Services; Instructional Media Center; Mailroom; Payroll; Production Printing; Purchasing: Staff and StudentsCERT Member since 2009Zenger Miller Leadership 2000/Global IndustriesManager Development Series, GE Capital – 176 hours of leadership skills classes - Certificate Certified Six Sigma Green Belt; CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) trained
