My role for Elastacloud is a Lead Data Surgeon, in which I work with a myriad industry-leading clients as they embark on their journey into the world of Big Data & Data Science. In this role, I've gained significant experience in Apache Spark and leveraging the power of Spark to create ETL & Machine Learning pipelines to create Analytics that drive forward business decision making.Big Data is my current passion, with a personal ambition to use big data within the health & social care sector, to help innovate and drive forward in the sector. Many people see big data as a buzzword but to me, it's much more; it's often the art of taking large amounts of data, preparing it and using it for deep analytics, to drive forward that business into the age of analytics.With a strong understanding of Azure and how to create massive scale cloud and Spark pipelines, I strive to innovate around the way companies see their data and use Data Science to help them unlock the massive potential their data has, that they can't yet see.
