I have over 30 years experience in the very important areas of HR & Payroll, Operations, Training, Public Speaking and College instruction. I completed Business Administration at RDC in 1996, my Certified Payroll Manager designation in 1999, and became a Registered Professional Recruiter in 2003. I greatly enjoy instructing at Red Deer College for the CPA program, and also HSE for the HR Certificate program.From Feb 2010 to May 2012 I was the HR/Payroll Manager for Collicutt Compression Solutions, where I played an integral role as part of the management team during the crucial start up phase of the company. Previous to that I spent 5 years in a manufacturing environment with Victory Rig/Trinidad Drilling, as the Divisional HR/Payroll Manager, overseeing all aspects of HR, Payroll, Apprenticeship, WCB Management, Benefits Administration, and Performance Management, while sitting on the senior level management team.I love to share my expertise with others, and often accept public speaking opportunities with employers, high school and college students, teachers, and parents about the importance of life-long learning, trades and apprenticeship, career opportunities, and what employers are looking for in the youth of today.
