Sandy is the Project and Development Lead for Global Connections. She joined the staff team in January 2009, having returned from five years at St. Andrew's School Turi in Kenya. Prior to this she worked in the voluntary sector in the UK - with special interest in good practice in the management of volunteers - and was on the administrative staff of IFES and churches in Exeter and Warwick.Sandy's role at Global Connections is to work together with the CEO and COO in exploring how Global Connections can grow and develop as an organisation and as a network. She plays a lead role in delivering projects and programmes of work in the pursuance of organisational strategic objectives. Sandy also has involvement in internal HR, and is on the Core Group of the International HR Forum.As a member of Myton Church in Warwick Sandy is involved with the Ministry Coordination Team and women’s ministry. She is married to Andrew and they have three adult sons and some lovely daughters-in-law. Sandy loves hill-walking, indoor rowing, reading, watching films, supporting Welsh rugby (even when they lose), comedy, and live theatre.

Sandy's role at Global Connections is to coordinate much of the vocational activities, resources and services of Christian Vocations, as well as overseeing HR, and involvement with the International HR, TCK, and Member Care Forums.
