A qualified architect, having studied Architectural Design Part I & II at the University of Edinburgh and completing professional accreditation RIBA Part III at the University of Bath in October 2015, with broad exposure to the architecture industry with two years of post-Part 3 experience. Since joining Hewitt Studios in November 2014, I have built a strong portfolio in sustainable development, and have delivered over £15m of education projects on site.Since graduating from Edinburgh in 2011, I have gained considerable experience at a number of practices in Edinburgh and in the South West, facilitating development of a longstanding personal interest in sustainability and the environment, strategic design resolution, and the detailing and technical implications of architecture, as well as developing particular expertise in the education and cultural sectors.Recently completed projects include Berkeley UTC in Stroud (completed July 2017 - http://www.hewittstudios.co.uk/portfolio_page/berkeley-utc/), and the conversion of an ex-nuclear engineering hall into Skills Centre at Berkeley Green (pictured, completed October 2016), which has been ‘Highly Commended’ by both National Offsite Construction Awards 2017 (Best Hybrid Construction Project) and WoE LABC Awards 2017 (Best Educational Building).In my spare time I enjoy photography and painting, and leisure pursuits including rock climbing, surfing, mountain biking and snowboarding.
