• Underwrite primarily conventional loan applications, ensuring adherence to company and investor guidelines.• Review all conditions of loan approval and ensure all conditions are satisfied prior to submitting the loan to the closing.• Evaluate borrower income and creditworthiness through review of financial, asset and bank account statements and tax returns, etc.• Analyzes and calculates income documentation such as personal and business income statements and ensures all necessary documentation is requested to support final loan decisions.• Review of all loan documentation submitted, included but not limited to analysis of loan application, credit, income asset, and liability documentation to calculate the risk assessment.• Evaluate the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensures an investment quality loan product and creditworthiness of the borrowers and acceptability of the collateral. • Analyze loan files to ensure that information is compliant with lending guidelines and legal standards, including red flags, suspicious activity standards, and ethical lending standards• Analyze information to determine risk involved in lending money for mortgage loans
