It is my privilege to be a Logistics Team member for the Law Enforcement Torch Run® Final Leg for the 2025 Special Olympics World Games in Torino, Italy. The Final Leg is a team of 100+ law enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes from around the world who will carry the Flame of Hope across Italy, culminating with the lighting of the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games. The Final Leg is a symbol of courage, hope, and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.

Responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and evaluating all aspects of the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), the single largest fundraising vehicle for Special Olympics Illinois.Oversee the recruitment, training and support of LETR agency/department coordinators and facilitate their orientation to the organization.Direct and collaborate with law enforcement representatives on local and statewide LETR fundraising events to increase revenue and participation.Lead efforts for a variety of revenue generating special events, including the annual statewide Torch Run, LETR Plane Pull, Dunkin'​ Donuts Cop on Rooftop, Texas Roadhouse Benefit Lunch, SUPER Plunge, Harley-Davidson motorcycle raffle and World's Largest Truck Convoy.

Manager of Development for a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.Design, implement and manage six area fundraisers each year with yearly event revenue goals exceeding $142,000.Direct and coordinate Area signature fundraising event, the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge at Carlyle Lake. Responsible for participation growth of over 240 individuals with revenue growth from $52,000 to $117,600 between 2008 and 2012.Established and managed new area fundraiser, The Law Enforcement Torch Run Trivia Night. In 2011 the event raised over $21,000 with an expense ratio of 5%. LETR Trivia Knights are currently being replicated in other Special Olympics Illinois areas across the state.Designed and implemented an unique area fundraiser, Foz Ryan Golf Classic. This event allows sponsors to golf with Special Olympics athletes under the lights at Yorktown Golf Course. The Golf classic exceeded revenue expectations by over $8000 in its first year and has grown to a $20,000 event.Prospecting, cultivating and securing corporate, association, civic and fraternal, foundations and individual support via direct contributions and/or event sponsorship with yearly revenue goal exceeding $74,000.Responsible for identifying, recruiting, managing and stewarding relationships with key fundraising volunteers.In charge of all ongoing sponsor relationship management to assure continued satisfaction, involvement and long-term support. Coordinate individual donor and sponsor recognition materials and media coverage of event sponsors.

Assistant to the Deputy Director of Education with lead responsibility for tracking, reviewing and research of proposed public policy and serving as a key contributor to the Governors Office.Performed as member of the IT team to develop and designed a database that organized the Governor's appointment to Boards and Commissions.Supervised and organized Dunn Fellow schedule for collection and distribution of the Springfield's Governor's Office media clips.Provided general support for Governor Office staff with primary responsibility for preparing confirmation and thank you letters for participants, speakers, volunteers, etc.
