Current• Partner with operational leaders in the Atlantic region to identify and take advantage of opportunities for success that balance the business needs with a positive employee experience.• Act as a change agent in the execution of corporate and regional strategies and programs such as policy changes, employee health initiatives, and rebranding.• Support the efforts and daily activities of the company wide Human Resources team by providing feedback, support, and reporting data as… Show more • Partner with operational leaders in the Atlantic region to identify and take advantage of opportunities for success that balance the business needs with a positive employee experience.• Act as a change agent in the execution of corporate and regional strategies and programs such as policy changes, employee health initiatives, and rebranding.• Support the efforts and daily activities of the company wide Human Resources team by providing feedback, support, and reporting data as needed.• Model the organization’s Core Values in daily activities, decision making processes, and coaching opportunities.• Act as a trusted mentor and coach to leaders in the areas of leadership and employee engagement; provide proactive and reactive coaching as required.• Provide guidance and support to regional leaders on performance and disciplinary employee issues.• Support and advise employees and leaders through labour relations issues. • Work closely with various internal and external service providers to ensure effective support for employees in payroll, safety, benefits administration, and IT.• Partner with leaders to identify gaps in workforce and to plan and execute recruitment strategies with the support of the national recruitment support team.• Prepare and deliver various trainings for leaders on various HR initiatives and programs.• Stay current on labour law trends regionally and nationally to accurately advise leaders, and to ensure minimum risk exposure for the company.
