My career has allowed me to do various things which serves me well since I love learning. Along with being a resource for educating staff, I am also continuously utilizing new technologies provided by our vendors as well as methods utilized in the lab from our diverse physician presence. Critical thinking, problem solving, and coming up with creative processes to create a more safe and efficient workflow in the lab are a part of my every day. Providing excellent patient care and customer service are key components as well as being part of a team that collects workflow data and offering solutions to meet administration and physician goals. I am currently working towards my BSN; one of a few personal goals that feed into my philosophy of being a lifelong learner. On a personal note, I enjoy being out in nature and spending time with my family, friends and pets. Other passions worth a note include yoga and cooking. And with no reference to Nike gear, my personal mantra is “Just Do It”.
