I partner with professionals, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and other community members ready to add quality to their lives and the life's of those they touch. My work with those at end of life has taught me what a gift it is to wake up every morning, how precious life is. To live a peaceful life takes work. Clean relationships, doing work you love, ongoing inner work, are keys to a happy life. At the end of life it isn't about how much money you made, it's about how you touched the lives of those around you. It's about love.Self-awareness, self-healing, and self-care are three areas of focus when working together.Increased self-esteem, work/life balance, obstacles turned into pathways for success, inner peace, better relationships, less stress, more joy, are some of the outcomes of this work.

Manage 900 hospice volunteers and ten Volunteer Coordinators. Strategic planning. Responsible for adhering to mandated Medicare/Medicaid NHPCO standards. Budgets for three locations. Staff development. Build relationships with community members. Work extensively with Hospice Directors and Senior Leadership at each location, clinicians, and administrative staff. Build community awareness within King, Snohomish, Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties of the need for hospice volunteers. Facilitate trainings. Public speaking engagements at facilities, and other community locations on the benefits of volunteering and compassionate listening to self and others.

One of the first alternative healing resource centers in the greater Seattle area to promote body/mind wellness in the 90's. Built community awareness. Developed strategic partnerships with local healthcare centers and practitioners. Community education. Free lectures given by professionals from various healing modalities to community members. Provided resources regarding fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and many other diagnosis, in addition to emotional well being, and spiritual well being resources.The resource center was dedicated to my mother who died in 1992. It was at that time I got out of the corporate world made the leap to live life from my heart, Offering a safe environment for those with terminal diagnosis, or suffering from the death of a loved one, or dealing with a chronic condition was an honor.There were resources to explore and always a compassionate listening ear. It was then I realized the greatest gift we can give to those suffering is a peaceful presence. Everyone wants to be heard and understood. Offering a safe environment for that to happen was a blessing. My primary role was community servant serving individuals who were suffering. I was asked to sit with family members dying. I facilitated a youth circle for street kids who felt no one cared. And I provided a safe space for the elderly to come and explore resources in the community.Several non-profits would refer individuals to Grandma's Medicine Wheel. The community was hungry for this service and I was happy to serve.
