Sandy started her career as a technologist, rising through a variety of information technology and finance roles. As a senior partner at Deloitte, Sandy was a sought-after advisor for companies facing marketplace disruptions, IPO-readiness, scaling of business capabilities and rapid maturation of their governance, finance, enterprise risk, and business growth capabilities. Sandy led at the highest levels of Deloitte’s global firm. As Chief Executive of the firm’s internal audit business, Sandy led the transformation, strategy, operations, and P&L, doubling revenues and margins in under five years. Sandy was a national Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry leader, Governance, Risk and Regulatory strategies practice leader, co-chair of the Deloitte Board Nominating Committee, America’s Operational Risk leader, member of the Deloitte Foundation Board of Directors, and served on various global executive committees. Sandy played a critical role in Deloitte’s Client Experience program, leading 150+ CEO, Board and C-Suite executive workshops on executive transition, agile leadership, strategy, transformation, innovation, risk, and governance. Sandy has been a thought-leader in the areas of governance and risk, authoring dozens of articles and whitepapers, and hosting the firm’s five-star rated Resilient podcast series. Sandy has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Missouri State University and an MBA from the University of Missouri. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor and holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).
