Operations Analyst (Rail)
CurrentGenerate the following monthly and quarterly reports for trending and cost analysis: Fleet Mileage reports, Mean Distance between Failures, Miles between Service Interruptions, Parts Usage, Labor allocation, Corrective Actions, Monthly Performance and Quarterly Management Reports. Provide NTD annual reporting numbers for the Rail Operations Division. Prepare Rail Operations Division annual Operating Budget. Assist with developing man power requirements to meet short and long term goals for the Rail Operating Division. Provide data collection for analysis and auditing for the Rail Operations Division. Prepare and present various financial reports including: Financials Variance Analysis, Capital and Operating budget Journal Entries, Purchasing Card Reconciliation for each individual's, accounts, responsibility center and overall report for Rail Operations, billing, invoicing, and reconciliation of contractors for employee support labor during Track Allocation. Assist senior Rail Maintenance staff with efficiency maximization through the development and compilation of Lost Time Report and Direct Labor Efficiency, Progression Report. Analyze Rail collision data and present findings, reports such as Rail Collision Report, Collision Cost Itemization Repair Report, and Rail Collision Factors, Variables Analysis Report. Track and compare costs associated with Collisions, Vandalism, and Incidents affecting Rail Operations, Maintenance. Support Sr. Director Rail Operations, Director Operations Budget, Director of Transportation, and Director of LRV Maintenance by fulfilling miscellaneous requests and other duties as assigned.
