I am responsible for advertising support staff and sales assistants (8 employees) doing layout of newspapers, data entry, sales rep customer service. Various advertising related duties in all areas of advertising (creative services, business solutions center, digital advertising reps, key account reps, outside territory reps, promotions and marketing), as well as liason between business office and our department and report directly to advertising director.

I was responsible for front office staff in 4 bureau offices as well as advertising support staff in the Springdale bureau. I reported directly to CFO of organization.

I supervised entire accounting staff (18 employees) as well as front office staff in 5 bureau offices, including all financial affairs (payables, receivables, billing, month end) as pertaining to the NWA newspapers and all their locations, reporting directly to the NWA Publisher and was liason between corporate accounting offices in Fort Smith, AR and Little Rock, AR.

Took care of all business aspects and accounting functions for Jaybird Foods, Inc. (a poultry brokerage company) and Chef Ready Foods, Inc. (a food manufacturing facility). Took care of all financial reporting, bank financing and cost accounting.

Rogers, Ar

Started this position when Hudson had a location in Springdale. I was doing cost accounting, payroll handling, health insurance processing. After I moved to Rogers, I handled capital improvement purchases. acting as liason between plants and corporate, and capital improvement job closings and payouts as well as troubleshooting bank reconciliation errors.

Muskogee, Ok

Ran all computer programs, audit writing, junior field auditor traveling to banks and garden nurseries, monthly financial accounting and statements for several smaller clients with the firm.
