LynxOS and C++/C.Designed and implemented a chassis switch card (CSC) manager, which communicated by backplane messaging protocol to its peer. Responsible for hardware discovery, equipment monitoring and alarms, coordinating switching fabric initialization and linecard bringup, and controlling alarm relays. Wrote MIB instrumentation, including M4 equipment MIB.Designed and implemented a CSC application which controlled uplink redundancy, determined linecard ownership with automatic switching on failures, and handled warm-cutover to peer.Developed system libraries, including hardware interface, I2C, CSC interlink, OS services, inventory information.Provided guidance to junior team members.Company bought by Nortel.
