Engineering And Transformation Manager (Westpac Account)
I led a multi-disciplinary engineering transformation team across multiple domains, including Public and Private Cloud (Azure, AWS), Database and Middleware, IAM and Cybersecurity, Digital Workplace Technologies, and Networks. The focus was on driving consistency through best practices, reporting, and automation. This involved embedding security controls, observability (metrics, alerts, traces), and developing architecture strategies and roadmaps to drive automation and achieve LEAN and Shift Left objectives. Additionally, I guided adopting SRE and DevOps operating models to embrace future working methods.

The position is to accelerate shared services' transformation of IAM, Active Directory Domain Services, Azure Active Directory, Public key infrastructure (PKI) and Domain Names Services (DNS) to bring it in line with the cloud-first strategy with a cloud identity first strategy with zero trust access model, RBAC and Just in time access. The primary focus of this role being the laser-sharp drive to digital transformation and driving the future vision, strategy, and roadmap for cloud shared services model, enabling Origin to adapt to a rapidly altering technology and organizational change: SSO, password protection, data protection controls, multifactor authentication (MFA), self-service password reset (SSPR), role-based access controls, privileged access management, B2B and the clean up of identities, onboarding, offboarding and user acceptance reviews and entitlement.

A business and technology transformation role resulted from the divestiture of two lines of business, involving the technology separation & migration, service delivery and service transition of the lines of business for IPO/retail sales-readiness. Service management & delivery/service transition wrapper and SLI, SLO and SLA reporting to commence the separation through a legally binding transitional services agreement (TSA).
