I have been working in the workforce for over 28 years. I started out as the neighborhood babysitter and then went into customer services as a cashier at Krogers. After having my first child I went into a factory setting starting out at GeCom as a team member on the line, working my way up to running my own line. While in my position I learn how to utilize a line with Kaizen and how to be a leader. I took a break from the factory setting to help my husband start his own business. I learned how to write up a business proposal, budget for a company, and work with vendors and customers. When my husband took over I went back to a factory in a packaging company called Deufol. Where I started back on an assembly line quickly working my way up from an operator to quality assurance. When the company downsized I was given the opportunity to go back to school and further my education. I am now pursuing my passion to take care of people. I'm a straight-A student with a GPA of 4.0 and can't wait to be a team member in the health care field.
