Among the many positive and beneficial things Sandy did at this property during the time her tenure and my residency overlapped: she worked with the Board to ensure the building's reserves were well above industry average and delinquencies were well below industry average; negotiated the association out of a vendor's exclusive contract without incurring any penalties, in order to solicit bids from other companies; and increased the budget allocation and provided administrative and other support to the new activities committee, whose hosting of a wide range of social functions have since created a tangible sense of community at the property. What I appreciate most about Sandy is that she is a communicator and authentic in what she tells you, whether in person or in writing. She is forthcoming in letting you know what's what, is always willing to have a frank and open conversation about anything from resident requests to complaints, and will be straight in saying "I don't know, but I'll look into it" if this happens to be the case. Sandy is a General Manager that any real estate management company can trust to do her job well. She is an incredible asset at a residential property, and if she were to switch to a commercial property, she would do a fabulous job there, too."
