At Orient Capital, Sandy held the position of Sales Manager responsible for the sales of share ownership analysis, global investor communications via the Mirage database (a fully integrated investor relations tool that links register analysis, database management and investor communications) and shareholder management technology used during merger and acquisition activities. She successfully presented and sold Mirage to over 50% of the top 50 ASX listed companies.

At One.Tel Sandy was the front line Corporate Affairs Director. She was responsible for the public profile of the company. This involved media conferences, Television (National News, Lateline and A Current Affair) in addition to radio interviews, preparation and writing of press releases and company documentation including the Annual Report. Sandy regularly briefed analysts and major investors and presented at international conferences. She was involved in the small team responsible for completing the syndicated loan (from twelve banks) for One.Tel’s 3G Network in addition to extensive IPO work in London. Sandy was instrumental in lobbying the ASX for One.Tel’s inclusion in the S&P (ASX) 100 together with international road shows in London, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong promoting the company, its equity and various debt issues .
