As a Business Analyst, I act to optimize the work of the assigned customer area through participating in business planning, needs analysis, business risk assessments, and acclimating business processes to changes in technology for Annuity Products. This requires working collaboratively with the customer on how to best support the business through the effective use of technology. My BA role requires me to ensure that IT is effectively servicing all customer areas.I perform under moderate supervision to ensure that the business requirements of the customer are accurately and completely documented and integrated into project planning. The work deliverables that I produce on a daily basis include Functional Specifications/Use Cases and/or Business Requirements, Test Plans, Test Cases, Testing, and Test Results.My main focus is the development of business knowledge relative to Retirement Solutions Annuity applications and technology through learning applications and relevant business data within administrative system or interfaces. I participate and lead business requirements gathering activities and proactively identify opportunities for re-engineering and lead those re-engineering efforts.
