I began my career with KHP in 1999 as a Communications Specialist I. I moved up through the ranks becoming a Communications Specialist II in 2001, Communications Shift Supervisor in 2002 before being promoted to a Trainer/Auditor in the CJIS Unit in 2003. I am a dedicated worker who is passionate about criminal justice agencies. I have taught and audited for the Kansas Highway Patrol CJIS Unit since 2003. I work very closely with criminal justice agencies across the state of Kansas in ensuring policies at both the federal and state level are followed when dealing with NCIC, Nlets, and KCJIS. I review NCIC case files for timely, accurate and complete records. Ensure NCIC certifications are kept current and provide additional training as needed and/or requested.
