With nearly two decades in elementary education, I am a dedicated school leader with a deep commitment to literacy and instructional excellence. I currently serve as Principal of Kingston Elementary School, where I lead literacy initiatives grounded in the Science of Reading and work closely with teachers to implement research-based practices. My background includes a Master’s in Educational Leadership, a Master’s in Literacy Education, a Reading Specialist certification, and National Board Certification in Literacy, all of which support my focus on fostering student success through data-driven, personalized learning.I am also completing a Master’s in Instructional Technology to stay current with today’s educational advancements. This advanced study equips me to guide teachers in integrating digital tools and adapting instructional practices to enhance student engagement and meet 21st-century learning goals.As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about creating a positive school culture that supports both student achievement and teacher growth. Through initiatives like a two-year LETRS training program and family engagement programs such as "One School, One Book," I aim to cultivate a supportive and dynamic learning environment.I am always excited to connect with other education professionals and explore ways to inspire excellence in teaching and learning.
