Currently I am adding my extensive library of genealogical data to Familysearch's outstanding online Family Tree. I continue to do genealogical research for private individuals occasionally in addition to my ongoing research into my own and my husband's families. I recently helped someone research his family tree from the present through to the mid 1500's in England, tracking his family starting from the West Coast of Canada to the prairies of Saskatchewan, then back to New Brunswick, where they were Loyalist settlers...then back further to the southern US, where his family were among the first families to settle in Virginia, to the Carib islands where his family were involved in the barrel making trade doing very well, and then back to London, where the barrel-making business was strong in the ship-faring era of the Elizabethan period! What an amazing snapshot of history that was!

I drive standard Type C school buses, 28 and 21-passenger shuttles and a 15 passenger part time, on call. I am air brakes certified with a Class 2 license and trained for up to a Class D bus. I am also trained in wheelchair lift operation. This job includes a pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the bus engine, exterior and interior, including bus cleaning and reports. Finally, interacting with passengers while driving is a particularly important skill involving administering first aid and on the spot troubleshooting.

I have edited over six books for local authors. For some I was paid, other work was volunteer for the pleasure of being among the first to read their work!

I worked part time assisting my former coworker in genealogical research for probate files she handled. Prior to that we both worked at International Genealogy Search, Inc. in Vancouver full time. I stopped daily driving to Vancouver in my later stages of pregnancy for my 3rd child but was able to continue the research work at home while caring for my four children for several years afterwards.

Driving armored trucks and transporting large sums securely, servicing and filling ATM's, dispatch of crews through all shifts, safe handling, care and tracking of firearms, trucks and equipment, working cash cage and coin room on a full time and casual part time basis.
