Ensuring both old repeats and new designs the grading all matched going forward for part AW19 and future orders• Problem solving fit issues on old core styles especially the Dungarees which was 70% of their top sales• Sourced external pattern graders and pattern makers in UK, for the factories in India that struggled in this area & for the Made in Britain range. Checking all graded patterns were accurate prior to making final carded patterns. • Set up best working practice with internal QC based in Barnsley, ensuring she had a gold sealed sample & production spec to hand as reference for checking bulk when it arrived• Selected the ideal size 10 model locally for brand• Set up system to send standard 1/2 leg wash standard per wash to the denim factories to follow for bulk, making them aware of our tolerances, the improvement was massive• Sourced environmental factories and mills mainly in Turkey, Europe and UK for quick turnaround. One agent has access to most of Turkish factories as has audited them, so showed great promise.• Created alongside the owners the final range plans layout and updated these• Managed to get delivery dates forecasted from our Indian factory they helped to set up. No Added Sugar sadly went insolvent as of 23rd January 2018, so all staff were made redundant including me. • Working with both CMT and Fully Factored Factories – I negotiated all factories to source basics trims, linings and packaging from nominated & local suppliers, due to demands of role and to try and make more consistency for pricing, this helped me spend more time on sourcing/ ordering & approving sampling & bulk fabrics direct from mills alongside the Design Director and Design team• Identified existing underperforming factories and replacing some using my contacts, streamlining the business to work with agents that have various factories, so growth in quantity is more possible, after future investment in brand is in place• Took control of internal record of outstanding Mill & CMT invoices, working alongside accounts and Directors to ensure that we prioritized correctly to ensure a timely delivery with factories and giving an accurate forecast cost for investors meetings with Directors.• Set up a more efficient internal seasonal buying bible for all departments to access, avoiding duplication of information and most up to date reference point.• Identified serious inconsistencies in spec grade rules across repeat (old styles) and new styles from inset and from SS18 onwards standardizing grade rules working alongside Avalon stands www.alvanon.com • Wrote an internal shipping training manual for warehouse, explaining commercial invoicing, raising Certificate of Origin and process for easy handover to temporary staff in busy shipping periods.

After perfecting our size 10, I worked with a Chinese stand company, had made full body stands for office and our factories, so making savings on fit models, as we all use the ‘on the stand fittings’ for design changes and a live model only for the fitting conversations if required for style.
