Serves as liaison to major donors for the College of Medicine. Organizes special donor events, building openings and dedications, stewardship functions and tours. This includes but is not limited to contracts with vendors, menu selections, booking of space, coordination of preparation of all materials for meetings and invitations as well as calendar coordination for all constituents.Coordinates special projects for the COM Development office.Works directly with the Director of External Relations in coordination of donor recognition, such as the selection of plaques and awards, weekly stewardship letters and reports and the ongoing refinement and maintenance of the College of Medicine’s donor wall.Establish and manage information tracking processes regarding acknowledgement, recognition, on-going communications and continued cultivation of past and current major donors to enhance their relationship with the University and increase the likelihood of continued contributions. Design, document, and implement a systematic and integrated donor relations program that encompasses donor recognition events, prospect cultivation initiatives and events, annual endowed status reports, recognition and naming conventions. Devise and use consistent, accurate, and appropriate information-sharing mechanisms for stewarding prospects and donors.Proactively support the stewardship responsibilities of the development staff by assisting them in establishing and coordinating individualized stewardship plans for donors to the collegePrepare and facilitate the mailing of annual endowment reports. Compiles donor and prospect reports using Advance and other database information to assist in stewardship and donor relations and to support the outreach efforts of the Director of External Relations and the Director of Medical Alumni Affairs. Attends meetings with the Director of External Relations as needed.
