Current- Managing IP including patent, trademark and domain name matters.- Reviewing and negotiating IP-related provisions in commercial contracts and managing IP-related contractual obligations.- Counseling business and legal clients regarding freedom-to-operate, patentability, validity, patent and data exclusivity, due diligence for licensing opportunities, trademark registration, take-down and arbitration of trademark-infringing domain names.- Strategizing patent and trademark filings plus expediting patent prosecution, managing outside counsel for patent and trademark matters, implementing internal IP policies, providing guidance regarding publication release requests regarding patent, trademark, copyright and privacy issues.- Preparing SEC sections pertaining to patent and trademark portfolios.
