During my time at this organization, I had the opportunity to develop new skills and expand my knowledge, particularly in understanding the privacy challenges people face on the internet. I actively contributed to developing open-source applications to provide users with secure communications while respecting their privacy and anonymity. As a developer, I worked within Agile methodologies, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and multicultural team. I utilized various open-source technologies such as Golang, GTK, Tor, OTR, and Bash Scripts.As a member of the organization, I participated in local and international events, including LatinCrypt in Chile, CCC in Germany, and FliSol remotely across multiple Latin American countries. These events provided valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, experiences, and knowledge regarding the risks to our data and privacy that we face on the internet.One of my notable contributions was programming Bash Scripts to automate the installation process of open-source solutions like NextCloud for Debian. These scripts included the necessary configurations for deploying the platform through Tor's onion services, making it easier for users without extensive technical knowledge to utilize these tools in a private and anonymous manner. This enabled users to have secure and autonomous applications for storing and sharing their files.Overall, my experience in this organization deepened my understanding of privacy concerns in the digital landscape and allowed me to actively contribute to developing secure and user-friendly solutions.

I worked on developing a startup focused on centralizing patient medical records in healthcare systems. As a senior developer, I took responsibility for generating high-quality code that adhered to the company's best practices and standards. I also followed architecture and design patterns that made the system scalable, modular, and highly adaptable to changes.In this project, we utilized a technology stack based on .NET Framework, implementing the MVC pattern, Entity Framework, and SQL Server for the backend. We also leveraged Azure services. On the front-end side, we employed AngularJS to develop a Single Page Application (SPA). All this work was done using Agile methodologies, allowing us to maintain an agile and adaptable approach throughout the development process.During my time at this startup, I take pride in contributing to developing a system that simplifies the management of medical records and enhances efficiency in healthcare. This project has allowed me to strengthen my software development skills, work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate within a highly dynamic team focused on delivering results.

In the initial stage, I worked in the position of Senior Java Developer as part of the engineering team at MyL Corporation. Our goal was to develop and implement a new version of the Legal Query System - www.fielweb.com, as the legacy system had several shortcomings that led to a significant loss of market share. The initial tech stack comprised Java, SpringBoot, and Postgres.Due to management issues, the project was canceled. Consequently, after analyzing the entire legacy application, I proposed a complete reengineering plan. This involved optimizing the SQL Server database, implementing a layered architecture, and rebuilding the front-end from scratch with a Single Page Application (SPA) approach, using custom JavaScript libraries. The proposal was accepted by the management, but the timeline was quite tight, with only 3 months to complete the project. Nevertheless, I accepted the challenge and began recruiting to assemble the new development team.We successfully addressed various technical challenges, especially related to handling subscriptions and concurrent sessions, improving response times and accuracy, and creating an algorithm to prioritize legal regulations based on their hierarchy. The technologies used for the reengineering included SignalR, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, TSQL, and SQL Server.At the end of the three-month period, we met the deadline and initiated the initial launch process, which culminated in the release of the new version nationwide. The short-term results were satisfying for the company, with approximately 60% of the market share being recovered.

During my time at the company, I had the opportunity to work in various areas, primarily focusing on backend development using .NET technologies, where I utilized C#, WebForms, and DevExpress controls. Additionally, I took on the responsibility of managing and developing Store Procedures on Informix 11, using ESQL.One of the most significant achievements was being part of the engineering team entrusted with the analysis, development, and implementation of the new international-scale reservation system for packages and tourist services. This project presented several challenges, especially concerning external complementary service relationships, but with a committed and coordinated approach, we successfully overcame them in multiple phases of the project.During the execution of this project, a key aspect was the analysis and gathering of requirements, which we carried out with each department of the company. This collaboration proved essential for the effective construction of the application and, at the same time, enabled us to establish effective communication that instilled confidence among the users.I take pride in being part of this team and contributing to the success of such a significant project. During my time at Grupster, I had the invaluable opportunity to learn and grow both professionally and personally. I started as a Junior Developer and eventually progressed to the role of Senior Web Developer.Throughout my journey, my work remained centered around web development, where I gained proficiency in various backend and frontend technologies, along with SQL Server for database management. I delved into ASP classic and used Basic as a programming language. Additionally, I immersed myself in HTML coding, applied CSS, and, above all, delved into client-side development with JavaScript, a language that remains an integral part of my daily toolkit.In the early stages, web applications lacked asynchronous capabilities, leading us to rely on postbacks and encounter cross-browser compatibility issues. However, as part of my professional growth, I was granted the freedom to conduct proof of concept experiments and explore new technologies. As a result, I successfully introduced the use of the XMLHttpRequest Object in JavaScript, enabling the company to embrace asynchronous requests. This crucial advancement paved the way for the development of web applications with a seamless user experience, providing significant value to our clients during that time.My journey at Grupster has been an enriching experience, allowing me to continuously push the boundaries of web development and deliver innovative solutions.
