Carried out ATPL Theoretical Knowledge & SEP Flight Instruction. As part of the Ground School's foundation phase for new students, I created and delivered a series under of trainingCreated and delivered a series of Human Factors training & instruction material ranging from Professional & Personal Standards and Competences for FTA’s foundation phase of their ATPL training. Also created and delivered “A History of Aviation”. As a FI and TKI, I created and delivered bespoke Flight Line Induction training package to integrate and streamline the transition the process for students from the ground school to the flight line. I also created, delivered and assessed the first summative KSA assessment exercise during ground school as required by introduction of the new EASA syllabus.I also created and delivered appropriate material for the school's Open Days.

Underwent CPL/ME/IR flight training on the integrated ATPL(A) flight training course after a radical career path change to pursue a long held boyhood ambition.

I was responsible for the continuous delivery of high intensity training sessions in an ever-changing location environment where I must continually make dynamic risk assessments throughout each session to ensure that the objectives of the session are met as well as keeping my members and members of the public safe.The environment that I work in is exceptionally fluid and dynamic and is one that demands a continuous assessment of all the factors that could potentially affect the outcome of each session.I drew extensively on my leadership and management skills and experience; especially when the winter weather makes for exceptionally challenging instructing conditions!No matter how good you think you are, you are only as good as your last session!

I ran my own company specialising in all aspects of training and instruction, event and expedition management and risk assessment from concept to sales and marketing to delivery through to post-event analysis. I also conducted bespoke training, as and when required by my clients.In order to meet and exceed my client's expectations, I draw very heavily on my communication and interpersonal skills as well as remaining culturally sensitive to whoever I am interacting with.I believe that great customer service is only achieved by being flexible and adaptable yet retaining high standards and maintain integrity as all times.

I accompanied my now wife on a global backpacking trip that took in 24 countries across five continents using all and every form of transport going that started with the 950km cross country trek, the Camino de Santiago, across the entirety of northern Spain and ended with cold beers in Rio de Janeiro.
