Operations Director with MBA in Healthcare Administration and 25+ years of experience managing budgets, staff, facilities, and patient satisfaction. I’ve been very fortunate in my career to be an active participant in the movement to improve healthcare. My roles as an Operational Leader and Clinic Administrator allowed me to boldly identify problems, generate enduring solutions, and engage physicians and staff to work together to implement positive change within complex and established systems. Success stories include:• Development, launch, and management of academic healthcare clinics including leading multi-disciplinary teams of healthcare professionals to break barriers and establish new patient care models. • Directed the 2013 build-out and opening of a new family medicine clinic from meeting with Architect to guide the design of the clinic space to hiring and developing the clinical and administrative support team. • Resolved gap in employee compliance monitoring by gaining approval for the purchase and implementation of a vaccine scanner software program that allowed scanning of employee ID’s when giving shots. Data is auto-fed into the HR tracking system and easily documented and tracked. • Collaboration with 3 local medical schools to develop and implement a minority medical education program for pre-med minority students. The program serves approximately 125 students per year by helping them prepare for the medical education application process.
