I have 41 years experience in the corporate pensions industry with the first 30 years spent in the defined benefit final salary arena before moving to the defined contribution sector in 2006. I have worked my way through pension administration, relationship management, auto enrolment and now implementing pension schemes for some of our largest clients.I enjoy working as part of a highly skilled and motivated team who are all available to support and encourage each other on a daily basis. I use my extensive knowledge of the Scottish Widows pension proposition and systems to ensure that employers and advisers alike are provided with a first class service when moving an existing pension scheme to a new provider. This involves understanding my clients business model and requirements to provide them with a best fit solution for the pension needs of both them and their employees.Outside of work I am married to my wife of 33 years, Elaine and one daughter, Adele, along with my two year old dog called Billy. I enjoy playing and watching sport and keeping myself fit and active.I have recently moved house and my range of DIY skills have been utilised to the full but it is something that I like to do, following in the footsteps of my father who was a skilled carpenter but picked up a full range of skills on building sites.
