Manage land projects for acquisition of oil and gas leases in strategic areas throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and Nebraska, acquiring over 65,000 acres. Oversee and manage Land department, landmen and support staff as well as broker supervision, Joint Venture agreements, contract negotiations with industry partners, Unitizations, due diligence, negotiation, project planning, divestures, title searches and Operating Agreements. Review and implement department strategies and duties for the preservation of heritage minerals and leasehold in 19 states covering over 300,000 acres. Facilitate audit and recovery efforts as well as reduction of deductions taken against ORRI, mineral and working interests in over 2,000 wells; work closely with management, staff and attorneys in prime states, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Texas. Establish and cultivate industry relationships; attend industry meetings to identify new prospects and minerals to replace reserves; consistently meet with industry contacts to discuss market and pricing trends along with developments relative to the industry.

Managed all land activity in various counties in Oklahoma, Texas, Southern Arkansas and Southeast New Mexico. Coordinated projects between land, geology, engineering and drilling; supervised brokers, support staff and attorneys. Managed 28,000 acre offshore Texas Area of Mutual Interest with industry partner; formed units and prepared locations for drilling. Managed 5,200 acre federal unit to explore and develop field in New Mexico.

Interfaced with geology, engineering, accounting, land, division orders and legal departments to resolve contract issues in Wyoming, Texas Permian Basin and New Mexico. Managed the recovery of over $2.5 million in underpayment through various contract audits. Developed internal programs to assure initial payments under new contracts were in accordance with contract terms. Administered over 600 contracts in the Permian, working with Operators on outside operated wells to ensure a gas market for new wells coming on line. Prepared price forecast for Permian operated and non-operated wells, incorporation future pricing estimates, area transportation, gas BTU content, compression and treating.

Provided consulting services to oil and gas industry businesses regarding contracts, operating agreements, asset dissolution. Reviewed and negotiated contracts for over 50 wells behind multiple processing plants. Packaged gas and increased profitability by 35%. Finalized sale and dissolution of assets in Trigg bankruptcy. Initiated hedge programs to increase asset base to facilitate future acquisitions.
