About Sandy Harned

I've had a great career in the arts - working behind the scenes as a theatre technician and production manager. I've been an electrician, a tour technical manager and a flying director, rigging aerial systems and choreographing Peter Pan productions around the world. I love mixing creative thinking with practical solutions and coming up with new ways of resolving problems – and if I can learn new skills while I’m at it, that’s even better.As a Production and Project Manager, I have evaluated projects for efficient production and guided teams with all varieties of creative temperaments to successful opening nights. Added custom CSS as requested by client.• Designed and managed Wordpress event site for RMC 2018 conference in Atlanta, GA. After the event, downloadable versions of all presentations were made available for all attendees through the site.• Learned Filemaker Pro development in order to connect WooCommerce sites to the company’s database network via the REST API for inventory management, and completed a Filemaker WebDirect redesign for AAF Flanders exhibit property management portal

I rigged and choreographed flying effects for over 300 productions, leading professional, amateur and student crews and performers.
