As a Sensor Technician, I was assigned to complete technical field work in coordination with a team of 11 colleagues to support operations for the U.S. military. To prepare, I completed a rigorous three-month training program in Yuma, AZ to learn how to operate and rig helium balloon surveillance equipment across a large territory of outposts with barriers, patrols, and multiple units of military personnel. Our mission was to maintain all surveillance equipment throughout theater rotations including special forces with small units coming in and out of each outpost. Also of note: • Fitted helium blimp with FLIR camera, electronics, and fiber optics for the purposes of military surveillance via multiple large monitors stationed throughout ops for staff and military personnel to view.• Properly performed ad-hoc installation and maintenance projects for various equipment with a close attention to detail and the utmost in professionalism and service.• Distinguished for tirelessly leading with a commitment to safety among multiple military staff using exceptional communication skills.
