Lead all aspects of accurate equipment procurement, and material acquisition. Assesses work performance and adherence to quality control programs, federal, state, industry codes and requirements and company rules and regulations. Provide analysis, identify anomalies, and provide corrective recommendations. Review approved plans, permitting, and environmental requirements. Ensures SCE assets are built to SCE specifications per design and/or civil engineering. Identifies, evaluates, and documents discrepancies and non-conformance, hazardous conditions, safety deficiencies, violations, and unsafe work practices. Provide recommendations for corrective action. Lead on projects, providing directions, scheduling, and technical guidance for quality related activities supporting the compliance and reliability of Transmission operations. Prepare and deliver reports to subordinates, peers, and/or management.SELECT CONTRIBUTIONS:⇒Develop and implement strategies that improve high fire notification training and collecting.⇒Direct contactors (Bobcat Fire/Blue Ridge); alongside SCE Engineering, Bio, key personnel, and forest agencies post-fires to coordinate communications with SCE.⇒Lead project crews on diverse projects, including brushing SCE structures and access roads, clearing, grading, and repairing roads, installing erosion prevention post-fires, collecting and inputting assets and access roads, and high fire notifications utilizing ArcGIS Collector program.⇒Verify notification related to access to structures on SCE roads and determine condition of road for safe travel; photograph sites, document damage, describe equipment/vehicles required, and determine needs and requirements for a contractor or an SCE operator.
