“Circumstances don’t make the man, they only reveal him to himself.” - EpictetusI am a program, product, project, and change manager with 15 years of experience in technical and manufacturing industries. After gaining 10 years of experience in engineering project management, R&D, sales, business operations, and system integration, I transitioned to software development. The people, industry, and future of tech inspired a personal passion for the work, the processes, the principles and methodologies, and the strategies unique to such a fascinating field. Over the last several years, I've had the unique opportunity to explore different roles within IT: full-stack engineer, DevOps engineer, site reliability engineer, program and product manager. Gaining broad experience not only allowed me to better understand the IT business ecosystem and the problems they face today, but also to identify what strengths I have to offer. I am a systems-thinker and problem-solver by nature; my "sweet spot" is one where I can provide cohesion and clarity to the interface of different businesses and departments. Product management has given me a way to solve big problems and enable my team to realize valuable outcomes in a tangible way.My professional identity is a manifestation of my personal values: empathy, courage, ownership, trust, efficiency, strategy, resilience, connection, growth, autonomy, and transparency. I am at my best when I can empower others to do what they do best with ease. I am always excited to expand my professional network.
