I'm a group leader for the in vitro infection team of Charles River Discovery in Portishead. The team operates to support pre-clinical research and drug discovery for novel anti-microbials and anti-virals. We also cover novel vaccination platforms and immunomodulators. I have over 10 years working with infectious diseases and assisting clients in testing their novel treatments through a wide range of assays. Previous to my current position, I was a senior scientist and manager within the same team. As part of KWS Biotest I was head of in vitro infection, although with a much smaller team than now! I'm passionate about finding workable solutions to unmet medical needs.
