Organized in 2002 to bring local, relevant technical and skilled trades’ training to the area’s business community and residents, the Technical Training Group (TTG) is a not-for-profit corporation with a 12-member volunteer Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of representatives from the public and catholic district school boards, industry and business community, the local Labour Market Planning Board and City of Stratford. The primary target population for training or re-training is age 18+, employed, unemployed or underemployed.

The Experience Ontario project is an expansion of Skill's For Change's existing employment programs for youth. The project focuses on grade 12 students and recent graduates who require educational and career pathway planning support. This new pilot concept supports youth in pursuing their post secondary educational or apprenticeship pathway through workshop training, meetings with employers and professional, career exploration and short term experiential learning. Generously funded through the Province of Ontario/Ministry of Education.- develop and maintain relationships with high school administration and recruit participants who fit the pilot project criteria- implement appropriate non-directive/empowering individual and group career coaching methods- community outreach and collaboration with key stakeholders- networking with employers to develop job shadowing/mentoring opportunities- design and implement engaging interactive workshops- personal development, financial literacy, soft skills training, resume building, mock interviews, etc- fostering effective partnerships with employers, colleges/universities, BIA's, municipalities, local service providers- conduct detailed assessments to understand/identify established barriers to youth education, training and employment

Perth4Youth is an initiative in partnership with The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs and the Perth County Economic Development Office to create and implement a local strategy to engage, attract and retain youth and to meet Perth County's vision for 2020. Responsible for assisting in recruitment activities and volunteer management for more than 200 volunteers at the 5th Annual Award Winning Culinary Festival, Savour Stratford, which is part of The Stratford Tourism Alliance. Collaborating to deliver an effective communication strategy which attracted over 25,000 visitors to Stratford on September 21-23/12. Savour Stratford Perth County Culinary Festival has won the Ontario Tourism Industry Award of Excellence: Event of the Year Award!
