Whether it was working in the clinical laboratory, entrepreneurial venture, or a university, I have always risen to leadership positions. I am an entrepreneurial thinker and come up with solutions to business problems and implement solutions that contribute to a healthy business.I have solved problems in sales, getting a hospital laboratory to put a direct printer to a large physician practice (back in the day before the internet).I have started several of my own companies, and when I needed to sell one of them I became a business broker.I even find creative solutions at the highest levels of bureaucracies- I was able to find a rent-free place to host the SBDC so we could hire an additional consultant. I have found ways to get expensive services on a monthly plan instead of lump sum, and now that we are putting entrepreneurial classes online, I have taken many classes and just completed a second master's degree program in Learning Design and Technology to ensure I have the requisite skills. I am a lifelong learner, with a B.S. in science, MBA, and doctorate in Management.All of these things are not possible without collaboration and making the best use of resources.
