I consider myself a "Jill of all Trades", with over 15 years of executive-level experience in just about every aspect of a business or organization. My passions lie both with business and making this world a better place. I thrive on starting and building businesses or improving existing companies that need help.For example, when the European Sales Director at Visual Numerics left suddenly, I was asked to go over there, "hold down the fort" and hire a replacement - a three month project. I ended up staying on board for 5 years! It was a tough time during the first year - the company was well established, but not doing great. At my strong urging, we completed a challenging restructuring of my division (that became part of an overall company overhaul) and the next year my division returned to profitability. My team members became more enthusiastic, motivated, and successful at their respective jobs, and they're still in contact with me to this day.I thrive on creating, developing and deepening relationships - with clients, partners, vendors, anyone and everyone to help us all succeed in business. That leads to ever-growing revenue for my company, satisfied clients, happy and successful staff, and a rewarding career path for me.
