Responsible for overall design and brand development of printed, digital, and in-house communications that support Southern Maryland Newspapers, a publishing group that served 3 counties and consisted of monthly publications, military base guides, targeted publications, and accompanying digital products. Developed and implemented overall design of internal or external communications. Provided effective communication skills when working with editors and advertising directors on production flow, concept development, art direction, and consultation. Consulted, managed and executed new brand launch of 3 bi-weekly and 2 monthly newspaper products and accompanying digital products. Also, responsible for the concept and design responsibilities of daily advertising/production workflow and new product launches. All of the projects were time sensitive consisting of production flow models and staffing models and meet required deadlines. Worked closely with advertising director and staff of 12, to develop effective messaging in all new product promotional campaigns. All advertising products were revenue driven, targeted products that generated increased bottom line results. Served as in-house design consultant to editor and publisher on feature editorial production and promotional materials. Managed daily advertising copy flow from concept development to execution. Also, coordinated production of all internal and external communications from concept to execution of final product (printing).
