These included:● Senior HR Consultant, ITN, Oct 2023 – Mar 2024 I was engaged to lead and investigate a high-profile and very complex Employee Relations case as an independent expert, reporting directly to the ITV Board. ● Head of People and Culture, TotallyMoney, Mar 2023 – Jul 2023Retained by the COO as an interim HRD with a remit to cover key issues that required immediate attention, such as the creation of the firm’s first ever People Strategy and the design and implementation of a range of new HR policies.● Senior HR Consultant, BBC, Nov 2022 – Mar 2023I was recruited to lead and investigate a high-profile and complex employee whistleblowing case, working in partnership with the BBC’s Head of Risk and Whistleblowing, where I resolved a potentially damaging ten-year-old whistleblower case within four months. I also created a blueprint for future improvements to avoid both reputational and health and safety risks.

I was appointed as Remitly’s first senior HR leader outside of the firm’s US home market for the first time, with a remit to support the firm’s ambitious growth plans across both EMEA and APAC. During this period, I established HR from scratch and enabled rapid scaling of the EMEA and APAC operations, with headcount increasing from approx 50 to more than 300. Unusually for an HR professional, I also contributed to the firm’s successful IPO, working with legal and finance teams to complete due diligence exercise.

I authored the draft project plan and trained the executive team to ensure their competency to deliver the RIF.● Senior HR Business Partner, Thomson Reuters, Oct 2018 – Dec 2018I was part of a ten-person HR team managing a redundancy project, as part of an organisational transformation. Most notably, I worked extensively with trade unions, leading both individual and group consultations to ensure a seamless process. ● People and Culture Director, Unispace, Jul 2018 – Sep 2018I successfully executed a comprehensive pay review and salary benchmarking project, while also designing a new performance management process.● Senior HR Consultant, Optivo Housing, Apr 2018 – Jun 2018I drove a successful redundancy programme and associated consultations. ● Senior HR Consultant, Serco, Sep 2017 – Dec 2017I took responsibility for a change and redundancy plan within the NHS, enabling successful completion of the project, while interacting with trade unions and supporting the management team and other stakeholders.
