As the strategic advisor and relationship lead to my client groups, I provide consultation and support on how to drive business strategy and results through the optimization and alignment of key strategic imperatives such as: Talent Management, Change Management, Employee & Labour Relations, Workforce/Business Planning, and Total Rewards.
In this generalist role, I served as a strategic business partner and single point of contact for a client group of 500 employees (two sites - Ontario & New Brunswick), providing support in all facets of human resources including employee relations, performance management, labour relations, recruitment, workforce planning and coaching/mentoring employees and managers. I traveled to New Brunswick to provide on-site support to employees and managers.
As the single point of contact for a client group of 300-400 employees (two sites - Ontario & South Korea), I advised and supported managers and employees with regards to performance management, interpretation and implementation of Company policies/procedures, collective agreements and/or legislation, handling employee concerns, job evaluations/salary reviews, and recruitment. I also traveled to South Korea to provide on-site support to employees and managers.
In this role, I partnered closely with an HR Advisor to deliver support to managers, employees and unions for a client group of more than 800 employees (four sites - Ontario, New Brunswick, Romania & South Korea). I developed a strong background in all facets of HR, including benefits/pension administration, HRIS maintenance, recruitment, and labour relations.
