I also lead internal employees that use Microsoft SQL Business Intelligence tools by implementing and overseeing the transition of the externally hosted enterprise data warehouse.Some of my most significant achievements:• Developed and implemented quote and proposal process by integrating and pushing data into policy administration system, streamlining processes, and reducing duplicate data entry points.• Updated and boosted the primary policy administration system twice by collaborating with partnering vendor and internal staff. First time migrated system from iSeries COBOL to Java platform. Used JIRA issue tracking to submit and track issues from submission through promotion in Git, built using Jenkins, and deployed into each environment.• Designed customer portal, which now has over 25,000 active/registered users, allowing users to log in and pay bills, review policy information/documents, and easily submit claims. Utilize multiple APIs to interface with third-party solutions that enhance the user's experience.• Transitioned external data warehouse and executive reporting tools from external vendor to an in-house solution. Used Microsoft Business Intelligence tools to load, transform, process data used for general use published reports by all areas of the business. Also, trained and supported ad hoc report-building capabilities for power users in Power BI.

I strategically oversaw the development team across multiple development platforms, such as COBOL, Java, .NET/C#, Web applications, SharePoint, IBM Lotus Notes, and proprietary systems/applications. Initiated and built portal applications within Microsoft SharePoint, such as internet (public-facing) site www.phmic.com and internal Intranet (used by the entire company). Designed and maintained .NET Web Form applications, utilizing .NET, C#, JavaScript, bootstrap, node.js, and CSS. Delivered other developers with assistance in learning new programming languages (ASP.NET, and C#) as well as a road map for new technologies. Implemented Microsoft Development Tools/Solutions to replace Lotus Notes.
