I am a highly motivated, self starting, team player who for the past four years have provided on-site construction supervision, cost estimating, plan review and comment, as well as budget and schedule tracking on all of The Container Store New Store construction projects. I was the key contact for the General Contractors, Landlord/Developers, Architects, Engineers and Building Inspection officials on numerous projects from May 2004 through June 2008. My MEP expertise has assisted The Container Store in many process improvement initiatives involving third-party low voltage providers, such as ADT, DMX and Divcon, as well as major design and installation improvements in the lighting, electrical systems and HVAC design and installation.My methodology when working with the project team is team building and inclusive. My experiences and ability allow me to bridge personalities and conventional construction processes to the benefit of the project. My coordination starts early in the design process working with in house team members, the Architect of Record and Engineering teams to coordinate and discuss any specific challenges before they are issues in the field.Any concern on my lack of a formal college education is more than compensated for with my vast field experience.I look forward to the opportunity to put my professional skills to work for your companies’ projects and operations.Specialties: On site supervision of the successful execution of the approved new store construction documents within defined cost and project schedule timelines.Development of bid packages; communicate with approved list of bidders, qualification, and assignment of projects to general contractors and the negotiation of applicable contracts.Provide cost-estimating and value engineering guidance as projects are determined.
