I believe we always land where we’re supposed to be, despite our best-laid plans. When I finished college, I planned to join an advertising agency as an account manager. Instead, I landed a marketing role with a small real estate developer outside of Chicago. Later, when an ad agency opportunity presented itself, I passed. I was hooked. I found I thrived in the challenging and diverse world of commercial real estate—an industry that is continually evolving. I love the ever-evolving landscape and the variety of paths for personal and career development. My personal time is filled with family and philanthropic pursuits. My husband and I have four children, ranging from artist to athlete, and two black and tan rescue dogs with Basset-mix Gracie and German Shepherd-mix CiCi. Raising our children, we strove to instill in our children the same work ethic our parents passed on to us, looking to change the world one volunteer hour at a time.
