    Micromouse Robotics Project
    Newcastle University Jan 2017 - May 2017
    Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom
This project is aimed at designing a robot (micromouse) that autonomously navigates through a maze until it finds its centre. The key skills developed during this project are:1) Digital and analogue circuit design2) Mbed microprocessor programming using C3) Digital control system4) Artificial intelligence algorithms

    Industrial Placement Student
    Newcastle University Oct 2016 - Jan 2017
    Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom
The Placement involved working with thin dielectric semiconductor devices to identify the correlation between surface roughness and interface trap density. The average dielectric layer width was 3 nanometers. The key aims were:1) To find the relation between the variation of interface trap density with interface roughness.2) Analysis of the methods to calculate the interface trap density.3) Design a software for automation of density of interface trap calculations. The key… Show more The Placement involved working with thin dielectric semiconductor devices to identify the correlation between surface roughness and interface trap density. Computer Architecture Project - Development Of Probabilistic 16-Bit Adder
    Newcastle University Oct 2016 - Jan 2017
    Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom
The aim of the project was to:1) Design and develop a 16-bit probabilistic adder based on previous research undertaken in the "E. Ashmila, S. Dlay and O. Hilton, “Adder methodology and design using probabilistic multiple carry estimates,” in IEE Proc. Comput. Digit. Tech., 2005." , and to present alternate design methodologies and algorithms to enhance the concepts presented 2) Simulate and compare each of these designs based on the following parameters: speed of addition, the… Show more The aim of the project was to:1) Design and develop a 16-bit probabilistic adder based on previous research undertaken in the "E. This project was aimed at comparing and measuring the accuracy of different techniques for determining the interface trap density (Dit) within thin dielectric layers (2-3nm thick) found in state-of-the-art electronic devices. To achieve this, an automated software was developed which enables fast and easy analysis of experimental data. The software processes raw data to give Dit in numerical and graphical forms as the output. The key skills learned during this project were: 1)… Show more This project was aimed at comparing and measuring the accuracy of different techniques for determining the interface trap density (Dit) within thin dielectric layers (2-3nm thick) found in state-of-the-art electronic devices.
