Collaborating with Queen’s University’s Faculty of Arts and Science Academic Advisors to develop a program to support first year students, by leading and training a team of 20 student volunteers. Advised students within the Faculty of Arts and Science by communicating university-wide, and specific academic policies in a comprehensive manner to ease the transition from secondary to post-secondary education for incoming students. Established welcoming environments for various students of different backgrounds by using strong interpersonal skills, as well as attentive listening to resolve issues faced by first-year students. Started volunteering as a PASS Advisor from September 2021, was promoted to work as the Assistant Coordinator for 2022/2023, and rehired for 2023/2024
