By joining this US based company I had put myself in a challenging position by switching from embedded domain to Web technologies. I joined at a time while they were trying to set up their branch in India (Chennai). Being the first developer hired in India I used this excellent opportunity to lead the development of a content management system (CMS) to be used by our clients. Got to play a crucial role in defining the company's software processes, design and development of the product, and deployment. The challenge of having to quickly learn and deliver in a completely new domain was the biggest motivation in joining this firm. Eventually I also gained tremendous experience in leading/managing a team to deliver efficiently.
