Sangeet Kayastha is a Nepalese activist working in sexual and reproductive health and rights for more than 14 years and currently working as a High-Level Commission Member of ICPD25. He has experience working from grassroots youth organizations and clubs to international organizations, primarily focusing on Young People’s SRHR, Human Rights and Youth Policies. Specifically, In terms of CSE, he started working in 2008 in Nepal. He was involved in national campaigns leading to CSE and regional and global discussions andcritical research related to CSE. Since 2010 he has been working closely with Regional Youth Platforms and Regional networks and organizations, contributing key roles in discussions associated with Most MDGs, SDGs, ICPD+20, ICPD+25, APCRSHR, Family Planning Conferences and other key events. Since 2016, he has also been working closely with Young Key Populations and Young People with disabilities and on the sector ofout-of-school CSE, supporting the research and key events on out-of-school CSE, online learning and mental health of Young People. Some of the key research involvements are related to ICPD25 at the National and Regional Level, Need Assessment of YKPs in East Asian Countries, Health Risk Behaviours of Young People in Nepal, SRHR Needs of Male adolescents and Gap between Services and Needs.
