As an Assistant Professor and a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Sanghee Lee teaches and supervises resident clinics at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Washington. She also mentors residents in their research activities, focusing on AI applications and advances in clear aligner therapy.Dr. Lee has a rich and diverse academic and professional background, spanning from chemical engineering to dentistry to orthodontics. She earned her DDS, MS, and orthodontic training from Yonsei University in South Korea and The Ohio State University in the US. She has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer and a committee member for several international orthodontic organizations. She is passionate about advancing the field of orthodontics and improving the quality of life of her patients.
